We are so excited to feature one of our newest products, Monster Mania! Last year we discovered the book Monsters Love School by Mike Austin. We quickly fell in love with it as did our children.
In this pack we included two literacy and two math activities.
First is a set of alphabet cards. We have included both upper case and lower case.
You can do so many things with these cards, the possibilities are endless. You can can play memory, a partner match, scavenger hunt for objects that begin with the first sound, etc.
Next, we have included sentences for children to practice their reading, tracking print, etc. Children will read the sentence starter and then chose one of the words that have been provided to complete the sentence. They will then re-read the sentence to make sure it makes sense.
This pack also includes Monster Ten Frames. The children can work with a partner to fill in their ten frame. One child can fill in the ten frame and the other child can find the numeral that matches the set of counters. You could use these for addition, subtraction, etc. Again, the possibilities are endless.
Lastly, we have included a monster themed I have, Who has game with ten frames.
As an added bonus, we have also included four different journal prompts for use with the book, Monsters Love School. The four journal prompts that are included are: "My favorite part of the story", "My favorite thing about school", "What I want to learn", and "What am I worried about". We have included five different versions of each of these journals to meet the needs of your diverse learners.
Thank you for joining us again this week! We hope you are all enjoying your summer!
